What started out to be a “light touch” administration process to save this iconic restaurant group from going to the wall due to the failure of an associated company turned out to be an intensive project to cut costs identify management inefficiencies that had been allowed creep in putting the business on a road to nowhere. The concept was dated, and it was clear that management changes were required if the business was to be saved. We held the business, implementing tight cash and stock controls as managing agents for the administrators whilst a new management team were assembled. An effective workout strategy was executed and the business lives on, going from strength to strength.
